Train etiquette...

As all types of decencies died, have they? How hard is it to get up and give a seat for an elderly person or for a pregnant woman? Is it necessary to stand in front of the door in the train while people are trying to enter and exit the train? If it is necessary to stand in front of the door, wouldn't it be better to stand to the side rather than having your back blocking the entrance? When you have your phone out, is it necessary to play your music on your phone so not only you, but everyone else is forced to listen to your shitty music? Or if you are standing in the train, is it necessary to still have you backpack on as you smash it against everyone else? Do you think it is fair to have 10 bags, and with those bags take three seats? Or hit everyone else with the bags to fight and get the seat. Then  there are those who stand right in front of the train doors, and are trying to rush in while everyone is trying to rush out. Last but not least, when you are reading your newspaper is it necessary to smack me with the newspaper two times in the face and when I open my mouth and tell you the "F" off, you look at me and say what do you want me to do? My response is move the "F'ing paper out of my face."

Where has all the etiquette gone? Don't you feel bad for being an ignorant individual? When you are on the train take a minute to look at your surroundings and offer a seat to the elderly, or a pregnant woman. Please just be considerate to the people around you, rather than annoying the crap out of them. One day someone is going to lose it because of the lack of train etiquette people have.... I am probably going to be the first person to lose it..

Being a parent I understand more and more everyday...

Why our parents wanted to kill us half of the time. Looking back at my childhood, I have started to understand why my parents wanted to kill me and my brother half of the time. The things we did to drive our parents up the wall, is just sad.

Till' this day I still think my parents want to kill be and I am thirty... Go figure!!!

Looking back at what my parents did to me and my brother probably would have gotten them arrested this day and age, but back then it was called discipline. And discipline was what straighten our acts up when we became out of hand. I remember when my mother use to hit me and my brother in words, Don't-ever-do-that-a-gain!! Or if we were out and were out of hand and she gave us that look (I know all of you know what look I am talking about) and if we disregarded it, she wouldn't say anything else. She would wait until we got back home, and once we got into the apartment, we would get smacked right in back of the head.  If we asked what was that for? We would get a bigger smack for forgetting what we did wrong  in the first place. Once time I ran under the bed and my mother went and grabbed the broom and tried poking me out of it. Now, the things about it was I would laugh so hard, which would make her even more mad. And as painful as it was, I would still laugh and she would say if you lose an eye while I am poking you out of there, than you are going get double the beating because you made me make you lose your eye. Oh and forget about threatening them that you were going to call the cops... If that ever came out of my mouth when I was a kid, she would call the cops for me while beating the living day lights out of me.

As much of a pain in the ass I was to my parents, they disciplined me. They gave me honor and respect for myself and for others. I am completely thankful that its made me be the person I am today. They taught me to respect my elders, to say please and thank you. To never walk into some one's home without greeting them, the list can go on.

(Now, if you went ahead and asked my parents if they did anything that I have just mentioned. Of course, they would say no.)

Kids have no idea how lucky they are. This BS of timeout.... Bwahhhhh, no such thing in our day. I also feel sorry for the kids nowadays. They don't respect their elders let alone themselves. And there is no such thing as discipline in their vocabulary. What as this world come too....SMH...
